Veterinarians

Dr. Bethany Karpowitz is a proud Delmartian - born and raised. She graduated from Bethlehem Central High School in 2007 and was very active in theater. If you are from the area you may have seen her as Frenchy in Grease or Caliban in The Tempest. After earning her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Tufts University in 2024 she spent a year in Rhode Island interning at an ER/Specialty hospital. Now she is thrilled to be back home working at a practice that has treated her own furbabies for 30+ years!

Professionally Dr. Karpowitz enjoys the challenge of internal medicine with special interests in ultrasound, pathology, and neurology. She hopes to one day expand the practice to include patients of the feathered and scaled variety as exotic pets are woefully underserviced.

Outside of vet med Dr. Karpowitz loves puzzles and escape rooms. She has a love/hate relationship with working out, and will always be a theater nerd at heart. Whether you have known her for years or are meeting her for the first time she can't wait to take care of your family!
